Red Ravens

The Moulton, Texas-based Red Ravens formed in 1969 and are still going strong, performing a variety of music, from polkas to waltzes to country and western across the state of Texas and around the United States.
The six-man band includes manager Lawrence Svetlik, who plays bass guitar, button accordion and tuba; Kenneth Kristynik-accordion, guitar, vocals; Daniel Jobb-drummer, vocals; Eugene Klekar-saxophone, keyboards and vocals; Shane Lala-saxophone, guitar and vocals; and Milton Wagner-guitar.
In its 37-year history, the band has released 14 recordings, four of them still available, and was honored as Polka Band of the Year in the early 1990s by Polka Times
The Red Ravens will perform from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Sokol Activity Center.
