Parade
At 10:00 on Saturday morning, floats, bands, and colorful costumes will kick-off the downtown festivities. The parade traditionally includes
something for visitors of all ages. Enjoy the music of our polka bands riding on decorated floats or the sounds of our award winning Ennis High School Marching Band. The
Shriners make their annual appearance, as well as celebrities, public officials, motorcycles, horseback riders, clowns, kids, and seniors! This giant parade twists through historic downtown Ennis and is sure to please. Kolache Eating Contest
Don't miss the 4th Annual Kolache Eating Contest on Saturday at 1:00p.m. at the Downtown Stage. Prizes will be given to Men's, Women's, Youth Boy and Youth Girl Individual Champion. Register at the Chamber of Commerce until Friday at noon. Register at the Downtown Stage until Saturday at noon.
Downtown Street Dance
Dance the streets of Downtown Ennis on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. with the Czechaholics and Sunday with another polka band from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Admission is FREE so come and Czech it out.
Arts and Crafts / Food / Kids Activities
Shop the streets of Downtown Ennis on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. from vendors with unique works of art, fashion favorites and more. Kids will have a good time playing and participating in activities such as face painting, a rock climbing wall, and bounce houses. Enjoy great fair foods like corn dogs, funnel cakes and fresh squeezed lemonade as well as your traditional Czech favorites like klobase sandwiches, klobase on a stick, and kolaches.
Revised Parade Route as of 5/17/13

Due to the storm damage in the downtown area, the parade route has changed. It begins on N. Clay St. and W. Ennis Ave., then travels East on W. Ennis Ave. then North on Sherman.The location of the Downtown Stage, Arts and Crafts, Food Vendors and Kid Activities has not changed.

Park and Ride from the KJT, KC and Sokol Halls to Downtown (intersection of W. Knox St. and N. Dallas St.)
Admission
Children 13 and under are FREE. One daily admission includes all three participating halls: KJT, KC, and Sokol (country concert admission is additional)
